02/18/2005: "All about Florida...."
Well, some about Florida.... We are in Avon Park in Mom and Dad's former trailer. They moved at the end of season last year to a larger one. This saves us from having to drive the motor home down here, and gives us a place to leave some junk, like SUMMER clothes, which a person just must wear when February is on.........
We've been eating a lot, me more than ever in my whole life, and have enjoyed the various restaurants. Also been to church more times in ten days than most people go in a year! It was fantastic, although DeNeff wasn't hear this year. Burt was a most excellent song leader and soloist.
Yes, I'm pretty much staying up with computer stuff..... The folks here enjoy my services, too.
Boodles of people have had "IT", including Mom. "IT" includes heavy chest congestion, almost a migraine headache, fever, coughing and overall weakness. Seems to be visiting some people twice, while others manage to avoid catching "IT". Hope my luck holds out!!!!
Plans for Wednesday to see JJ and wreak havoc on the midlands. Tomorrow, (Saturday) will be breakfast and hearing "Six" give her presentation, then to Dad's for the Hootenanny, supposing people are able to be out and around.
Retreat is set to begin with The Collingsworths in concert Friday night, and continue during the day Saturday. So far LuAnn isn't all that well recovered, but she's got another week to work on "IT".
Ebbie is dragging me for long and short walks every day. Not a problem.... I need them, and with Mom not so well lately and Dad not walking really great yet, it works fine.
Thanks for asking, yes, the bikes are doing quite well, too!!
Ginny, hang in there with WW. We'll be pulling for you! You're gonna feel really great!
So much for now..... Backatcha another day soon!
