09/21/2005: "I know who Jesus is....."

I know who Jesus is, was, and why people hated him so much......

I could never hold myself up as an example to others as being right, correct, true to God's will. Yes, I believe that there is one truth, and God owns and embodies that truth. If something is right for me, it is right for everybody, but who am I to say that I know God's plan? All I know are bits and pieces as they are revealed.

Okay, then.... Jesus came. He was God. He alone could be the example to others, being right, correct, true to God's will, because He was God, He embodied that truth. Anything he called right was right, is right, for everybody.

I can see how that would make people angry. I can see how they wouldn't understand. I can see how people today cannot understand. But the more I know that I am not the example, the more I realize why Jesus is. Wow! That's awesome. It's a big idea to comprehend.
