11/06/2005: "Tornados didn't hit my house"
Well, a swath of tornados and bad weather encircled our area, but we didn't even get any rain...
Deaths up along 35 miles north of us, then east and west of there, devastation, etc. Took out most of the racetrack, too. Also Munfordville, to the east of us a ways. We don't know where all else because the news is from Evansville, and they took the brunt of it.
Anyway, it seemed to part and miss our hill, again, although we did hear the thunderstorms, the wind rumblings, etc., and our headaches and sinus probs set in for the barometric pressure stuff, we had only a trace of rain, if any. More likely a heavy dew.
So, for those who are concerned, we're okay, again. For those with loved ones in the area, it is a mess up there and over there. God bless.

Addendum:
Todd Polk, son of my parents' dear friends and close friend to my brother, died in the Evansville tornado.
God bless you all and give you comfort.
