05/03/2006: "The California Visit"
Woohoo! A whole week in California with the kids and grandson! A long ride to Lego-Land and the San Diego Wildlife Park, but it was great! I got pictures.....
If you want to see them, you'll have to email me. I didn't put them up yet because Mom and Son already have them.
The motel in Carlsbad was a block from the ocean so we could watch sunsets from the balcony of Son and DIL's room. The rainbow was from Grandson and my balcony. Our rooms were ajoining and made a nice suite. That's the way to stay! two baths, two doubles, a king, a couch, a table and chairs, two tv's, and when grandson went to bed, he was in a separate room from the adults until I went to bed. When he woke up in the morning, we entertained each other until Mommy woke up.
48 inches tall and about 55 pounds. The boy has grown. He's wonderful.... and very much looking forward to his new brother or sister. And to a visit to Kentucky and Alabama!
