02/25/2009: "~ The Ice Storm... ~"

The ice storm? It looks more like a 200 mile wide tornado at treetop level!!!!








Yes, we are in a very hard hit part of KY. Yes, Hubby did manage to get the upper yard (where the house and garage are) cleared nicely before I came back from Church Camp.

But.... the lower two are pretty bad, and the yards of those who have been unable yet to clear their own or contract with a worker are very telling. It's hard to explain, but mile after mile after mile of widespread destruction.... but just the trees. Very little else is damaged. Strange.

I saved some ice pics, but haven't any of the remaining debris yet. Guess I should get on the stick, huh?
