It was an outside kind of a day.... The kind of a spring day you look forward to if you've had a winter. Warmish all day, soft breeze, the redbuds are, and the maple trees are making their pre-leaf seedlings.......
Bootser had to play fetch over and over and over with his squeaky; until he heard a mole digging/squeaking. Then he had to dig. And dig. Daddy helped with the shovel, and Bootser had a play pal for a while. It kept trying to dig back into the ground, and Mommy had to keep kicking it in the head so it couldn't. She told Daddy to get the shovel and disable it a bit, but he was too fascinated watching Bootser play and Mommy kick.
Pretty soon the ol' mole got his front diggers and nose in the ground. Mommy had hold of his tail, Daddy had a foot on his back, and Bootser had teeth in his fur, and even so he dug so hard and fast he got down and away. That kept Bootser busy for another half hour trying to find him again.
So, after Rosie, we went fishing--not a deep sea Flalalal fishing, but a good old-fashioned KY strip pit fishing. Bootser didn't go with us because we want to keep him. We put the boat in up by the beaver lodge and waited for the beavers to show, but no, only a turtle or two.
My catch was bigger than hubby's but he threw them both back for another day. Still a bit chilly in/on the water, but it was nice to be away from the shop, the phone, and relaxing in the sun away out on Peabody's. Geez, I almost forgot.... a wild turkey stirred from the bank and flew across the water dropping plenty of doo-doo as he flew. I thought you might enjoy reading about that.
Mikish said goober gurls are hot. He knows how to make a girl feel better after a dogg makes her feel bad. [smooch] {{{{{{{{{{{Mikish}}}}}}}}}}}
