It's been a long day for sure, as we travelled to both Galatia and Dixon Springs to visit family.........

Thank goodness for some folks who like chicken on Turkey Day! His mom ever our gracious hostess. Cindy came down and admired "her" Mustang. It seems forever since we've seen her, and it was a pleasant visit.

Then comes the dread of visiting my family... you never know what mood people will be in and whose turn it is to be picked on. At least that is how I feel very often when it is a houseful. Nevertheless, the visit went very well.

Scott has grown so, and is a man now. Didn't get much visiting in with him, but it was good at least to see him. Mel wasn't up to par physically, but seemed her usual witty self, even letting me get a pic in with Ron. (She maintains control of that pic, so it won't appear here when I get around to documenting the visit.) Ron still loves me and thinks I'm really great. He's right. heh! Dave never has said if he thinks I'm cool, but I know he does. Why not?

Matt is a freshman now and I think I haven't seen him since he was ten. He's quite a young man, handsome as anything, and cuuuuuuute with his bleached top hair, putting me to mind of Gino, only cuter. Hope Mama doesn't chase the moon with a switch when they get home.

Laura has turned into a beautiful young lady, and spent most of my time there reading. Becky. Sweet Becky. So good to see her home and being loved. Been a tuff year, huh? Tell Mr Travolta to be good to you!

Mom and Dad had a couple chores saved up for me, and I'm so glad to be able to give a little to them in that small way. Simple computer stuff for me, big annoyance for them.

Most important of the visit, though, was my talk with Cindy. My sister Cindy. Situations in her life have prevented us from being close for a long while, and I've hungered for her company, but feared she would be difficult to talk to and love. I'm so silly. She's still my sister, and her situations have nothing to do with sistering. Love you Cindy. I don't understand, not really, but I love you, and I'm here for you.

Thinking about AZ and his family, and at the same time of Judith and their big family gathering. Hoping the state survived all the raucous and turmoil both places! Judith, hope your Tday proved to be tolerable and love-filled and made your move down there welcomed. Love you too.
