So much to wonder about, so little time. Like, why is it that when we decide to go somewhere, that is the exact day we get umpteen calls?????.................
yes, we had to go to Columbus to pick up the car and come back to umpteen missed calls, and only a few with messages. Any other Monday would have been as slow as molasses. Figures, huh?
Okay, and also I'm wondering how in the world the rocks made like they did. I mean, in this spot they are gray stratified with red clayish above them, then 20 feet or so down the way they are coalish black, looking like they would peal away in a minute.... further on, not so far at that, they are sand stone above limestone, huge big rocks, with a touch of red dirt on them, and the next spot is dusty brown muddy dirt, then the gray slats, then the hugebig rocks that breakdown and roll to the highway.... How did we get so many types of rocks in so many layers so close to each other and changing from one to the other to the same then another?
I wonder if when we die and go to heaven and know all things if we still will wonder about it enough to look down and say, oh, I see, it was so easy! Wonder how come I didn't figure it out? or if we won't even wonder about the earth anymore. Or if heaven will be on earth rebeautified and we will know.
Anyway, yesterday was Sunday and Charity came to sing. They are the Burden group from up around Dundee, and guess what? Mike didn't even know them all and their history! Boy was he amazed! They played well and brought a blessing, and Leslie, dear, thanks so much!
She gave me a song I will learn and pass on, "What happened to your hands?" More on that when I get it and learn it or take time to post the words.
