Need some 'puter help?

In case you don't check out Brad's page from my help link to find this guy, here it is. He was asking for linkers, etc, and even money to help him stay there, so okay. Help him stay there. LOL

Off to flash a BIOS and home it fixes things.

I would try him, except for that very reason! hate to call just to bug for free advice! Okay, here's one: Why does Dell give a parity error on some winmodems?

He said because winmodems have a bios on them and it's probably bad. He says their a piece of junk...I think that translates to they break more than others and have to be replaced.
